I run legal tube sites and last month I made $921.29 from 33,477 unique hits sent to their site… this isn’t that bad either… it’s about $30 per 1000 visitors

most probably you are right, but not entirely… I promote VS also on other non-escorts escorts sites and sales are indeed much much lower, but it still still generates at least $200/month which is not bad popunders traffic.

Also, when it comes to their representative I don’t who’s yours, but mine (Matt Falcone) couldn’t do more to help me improve my ratios and answer all my questions/requests.

I found with cams can they take a bit before people start spending but when they do it’s great. Have landed some big spenders lately as well.
Payment and support is pretty tight.

I think your success with cams is going to largely depend on your real estate.
Cams aren’t going to sell well on a bear site because there generally aren’t many hairy men or bears on these cams.
If most of your traffic is younger guys with their heads buried in their cell phones chatting on facebook or twitter or cruising grindr, then I don’t think you’re going to sell much. They’re all talking to each other and they don’t have $12 a minute to spend talking to some guy.
I think to make money with cams you need access to surfers who (a) have money and (b) are lonely, old, fat, or shut-ins, or generally undesirable in some other way. It’s sad, but that’s the reality. Let’s face it, some 26-year-old guy who has a successful career, makes a good living, and has a hot body probably doesn’t need to spend $12 a minute to talk to someone on the Internet.
I suspect that the cams probably sell very well on twink traffic that probably has a high number of older men surfing for young guys. And we know it does very well on escort sites, I know that from my Mancheck days. There may be others, but I’m not sure; I have tested the market too much.
If you run a generic, everything kind of blog and have tons and tons of traffic like a Just Us Boys or Queer Click, then you’ll probably also do not badly with cam sites because they attract all kinds of surfers, so you bound to hit the right kind of traffic eventually.
