You can watch for free, but need to spend tokens for private shows, plus most performers wont do certain things until a certain amount of tokens are spent, plus some guys just like to spend lots of tokens in the public chats to be big shots or to show appreciation.

chaturbate, sure, I’m signed up with them but have not promoted them, or even looked at their tools all that much. the free cams gimmick is doing well for some straight webmasters. worth a second look.
so, no conventional cam sponsors as an alternative to VS? long ago i did okay with AWE but for some reason conversions just collapsed some years back.

You guys are missing the most important reason sites like Chaturbate and Cam4 are so popular: you can actually see dick! AWE, VS and the rest of the pay sites prohibit their models from showing cock until they go into a private chat. You can click on the free cam sites and see guys actually jerking off just about all the time. I guess the free cam guys don’t know (yet) that they can actually make money from performing on VS and AWE.
Anyhow, I did white labels with AWE and VS last fall and since then have sent them both about the same amount of traffic. Still no sales from AWE but I finally got over the $100 mark (woo-hoo!) with VS so I got my first check from them.
However, I’m considering dropping all my cam banners, i-frames, etc. since I wonder if they’re distracting my surfers and keeping them from going to regular porn sites where I actually do make money.

Performers make money on Chaturbate too. I have read that most models make way more on Chatroulette than they do on F4F.

I signed up to Chaturbate the other day because of this thread. Have sent around 700 uniques, 14 “Chaturbators” registered, $0 made. Im gonna give it some time, I dont even know what the difference is between the different tiers of “chaturbators” I am referring.

Tiers don’t matter any more as the pay per email option is gone. For me cams takes time but when you have members that start to spend it is very nice lifetime income.

“Lifetime” hahaha… lol … nothing is lifetime anymore. Programs always find ways to slither out of their obligation to pay you. In my opinion, VideoSecrets is much better then anything I ever experienced over at AWE. Until they F me like AWE did… if ever… I will continue to promote their program. Years ago I read a thread about VideoSecrets cutting off an affiliate that got a huge “webcam whale” under his account then retired and they stopped paying him his percentage of sales which was their obligation with something to the effect of, “He was no longer actively sending us traffic.”. VideoSecrets is all US based as well, and I’ve received every check exactly on time. I also am making good money with them so as of right now I am happy with VideoSecrets.

Well the future of cams is sites like MFC and Chaturbate. If you make any money from cams it is probably in your best interest to figure out how to make money from them.

My VS sales this month have gone way up this month since installing their ‘one click’ upsells in our member area. I agree with others that the key is having Matt as your Account Rep…he really goes the extra mile for us. Of course they are going to do much better on paysite traffic (where the majority of our sales come from) then on blog or tube traffic.
