If your site isn’t on there yet, it may be soon. They take requests.
Man, it’s tough enough trying to make a living. These guys feel like they’re entitled to steal what we work to create.
I know I’m not the first to deal with this here and I’m sure I won’t be the last. But it’s frustrating!
Wish I could afford Porn Guardian! Sounds like they do good work in stopping sites like this.
You know, Porn Guardian is pretty flexible. They have all kinds of packages and can work with whatever you can afford. If you want me to introduce you to Peter, I can … he’s a super guy.
Thanks, Michael. I really appreciate that.
I wrote to Porn Guardian just to let them know that the site was there. Though they probably already know. they do a great job.
Just couldn’t belive how much content was on the site. They’ll take your entire site or your entire DVD and just put it up there. There’s a user named “Twink” who just posts and posts stolen material. And they take requests! Tell them what site you want and someone will steal it for you. So crazy!
I’m sorry that happened to you, Robert. I went to the site, and I just want to note that these people aren’t doing this for fun – they’re trying to make money. They want visitors to pay $$$ & get a “premium” membership so they can download the movies faster and easier. I have to wonder whether the entire site is based in Russia, since the English isn’t always that good and that’s where “Twink” is from.
You can contact the domain owner through that, or report abuse to them directly. I would do both stating that legal action will be taken. Even if they fail to act, you can show that you have taken all reasonable steps to have your content removed if you ever need to take them to court. For the sake of filling out a couple of forms that could go in your favor in the future.
I think it’s registered in Australia. I only took a brief look at the whois, which is very limited because of privacy protection, but I think the register was au.
Well this site has great rankings in Google! I found a “full video” which was posted about 35 days ago and I searched for just the title - “Passions Of War 4 Maneuvers” – gay (dash) bb.org’s appears twelfth in Google’s results!
This is what drives the success of piracy. Piracy will always be around, the difference today is that Google pushes consumers to it.
And Google Images now seems to really like those huge JPG’s composite images which individually mean nothing except to present a massive amount of visual copyrighted material. (When I see those huge composite JPG files in search result thumbnails, it looks to me like a fly’s compound eyes) This another interesting “aspect” of Google’s ranking priorities that enables piracy.
Isn’t it nice to have hit the sweet spot in their Panda ranking system?
Thanks for your support everyone. I sent them a take down notice and I emailed livefile.org who is hosting their stolen videos. Yes, both are making money off of their “services.” I guess they believe in liberating porn for all while making a huge profit. I copied Paypal and Porn Guardian also. These guys seem determined to get everyone’s content up for “free.”
@desslock, didn’t there used to be a way to report websites to Google with just a click or something? Doesn’t seem to be there when I looked. I would think Google would want to do better than promote pirate sites.
Such a pain in the ass to get my whole site stolen just as it was building momentum. Should I be flattered?
This pirate site has been around for a long time and I’m sure Dominic at Porn Guardian is aware of it and is most likely working on getting it taken down. It takes a lot of time though.
Yeah, it has been around for a long time. I haven’t been a partner in Butch Dixon for over a year now and we were dealing with this site through Porn Guardian a couple of years ago.
These guys are pretty easy to deal with, I fished out the owner / moderators email, and when we see our stuff posted, we just send him an email asking for it to be removed.
Hey, Richard.
Tried sending you a message and not sure if it went through. Would love the contact for gay-bb. Been trying to get my content taken down with no luck.
Maybe you could post the email here.
They’ve stolen content from many of the webmasters on this board. I’m sure we’d all like to get them to stop.
Also noticed that even when the files are taken down, they still keep the thread and thumbnails up.
Also, ivefile.org hosts the content. Once the content owner gets them to take the files down, they list it as not being available for those with free account and they urge the surfer to buy a premium account. I reported them to Paypal also, but not sure if that’ll do any good. My takedown notices haven’t seemed to have any effect yet either.
I wish I could afford the savage lawyers over at Corbin Fisher now!

Do you DMCA the picture hosts as well?
A lot of these boards may actually give you mod status so that you are able to delete threads and posts yourself.
They are hosted by Camel Host. Sometimes Camel reacts and sometimes it doesn’t. Robert, while I can’t act directly on your behalf because you aren’t a client (and therefore I can’t legally send notices in for you). But I did just do something that should at least help.
The system is in the process of sending Camel Host links to about 7,000 pages on gay-bb that we have found our clients’ file on. Hopefully this will stir them to take the site down. We will see. If I hear anything back from them, I will post it here.
You are awesome, Dominic Ford, a real superhero in the industry. I’ll send a notice to the host. I just got my membership on the site approved now, so I’ll post the takedown notice on the site. At least they’ll have to deal with it.
Thanks for the help everyone. Sorry to keep going on about this. But my sales are dead this week while this site is getting a lot of activity. They got me this week and they’ll get dozens of other sites in the next few weeks.
