42 days isn’t bad, given the past update releases for 2.9. The new release of wordpress, 3.0.1 is being called a maintenance release, not a security one, so that is good news.
Means the upgrade isn’t critical, and maybe they got it right this time around, as far as security holes goes.

lol yep it is safe, been one of their best upgrades, so it seems. No major security holes (yet) and things actually seemed to work fine

Nah, not twisted at all, besides I use the virtual multi blog script, so its a snap. 15 blogs with one click, the other 10 are well, they can wait till i get to them lol

well, here’s hoping that some hackers wont bypass any security with this upgrade. i have had issue upon issue in the last few months with a couple of my blogs :grrr:
