Uh, yeah you read the title right. An exploit found, so a security fix. There are ‘files’ you can just upload, rather than do a complete new install though, so that is good.
The naming (2.6.5) is to avoid any possible confusion with the fake update that was going around.
HOWEVER, 2.7 is due out any time, but as it is a few pages, might be worth it for peace of mind.
I suppose to, the question is going to be when is 2.7 finally going to make it out of the gate? And does it include all of these exploit fixes for earlier versions? :bang:
Yeah but the 2.6.3 update was for the same damn type of exploit, now here is supposedly another. Really makes you wonder about how they are testing the new releases. But I am just being in a snit over these exploits. :grrr: lol
