Sadly legendary William Higgins passed away on the 21st of December.
Legendary golden age of gay prongraphy film director William Higgins best known for his works, A Married Man (1974), Pacific Coast Highway (1981) and Pizza Boy: He Delivers (1985) died from a heart attack in Prague on his way to hospital on early Saturday morning, December 21st.

In the early 80’s the very first gay porn I ever watched was “These Bases Are Loaded” by William Higgins. I fell in love with his movies and have always considered him the “Cecil B. DeMille” of gay porn. I had the pleasure of meeting Bill in 1997 at a convention in New Orleans. Little did I know then that he and I would become quite close both in business and as friends. I was consistently impressed with how driven and passionate he was about his work. His presence and inspiration will be missed. RIP Bill

I just heard about this today. Higgins led the kind of life I wish I had if I could go back in a time machine and do it over. Sad to know he’s left us but his work and legacy will certainly live on.
Speaking of that, there is still no word on his website about his passing. I assume he made arrangements for the website to continue if he passed, but does anyone know who is running it now?
On a practical level, I would guess it is the same people who have been running it for ages, Bill has mostly be concentrating on his vlog for years. It will be interesting to see though if Bill was the only ‘driving’ force’ behind the site and how it will fare in the long run without his unique perspective. Last time we spoke he was the only gay person in a decision making role there.

My impression is that it will continue as it is, by the way I received a payment just two days ago from them.
I’ve been trying to contact them for about 3 weeks and can’t get a response.

Have same experience - replies for like 2 months, payments was not issued for the same period.
Not sure how it will work out.
I have already 2 months pending their Paxum Payout. It seems they have manual process of payouts to affiliates. I have each time remind them about payment. And now after a week of waiting they replied that Payout is sent to accounting department…
