Not sure of the wording for the title, but you know when you are surfing the larger mainstream sites, they already know what you want for the most part. Is there anyway to grab this info from our surfers like amazon, etc do? And how do you do it? I assume it’s some cookies or something, but where do we get access to them? Seems it would be a good idea on non-niche general cam and porn sites to tailor the ads to the surfers preferences in advance.

U may try parsing the search phrase in referer, if someone comes from search engine.

You can’t access those cookies on your visitors computers just like Amazon can’t access any cookies you place on your visitors computers.
Amazon, Google, Facebook and so on gather data via all those widgets you see on thousands of websites. Google Ads, FaceBook Like Buttons and Amazon Ads. When people place those on their websites this is what allows those companies to collect all sorts of information about their visitors.
For example if you own a web site about Televisions and place ads from Amazon on your site then Amazon will be able to detect who visited your site. If later someone from your site goes to Amazon then Amazon can see oh this person went to a site about Televisions so they will show you Televisions. It’s much more complex than that but that’s the general idea.
