Twitter (X) Account Suspended

So I do not use Twitter very often, I just occasionally post there a short affiliate clip or a photo with the link to my website (gaypornzone.com). A month or so ago I reposted one older Tweet, immediately after that I got a notification that they are “temporarily” suppressing my reach because I tried to manipulate search results, whatever that means, so I logged out of Twitter until now.

I logged back in today and all my followers and following gone, but no notification about anything. In a couple of minutes a message saying: " After careful review, we determined your account broke the [X Rules]. Your account is permanently in read-only mode, which means you can’t post, Repost, or Like content. You won’t be able to create new accounts. If you think we got this wrong, you can [submit an appeal.

but appeal what? what did I do? I got no email, no notification of doing anything wrong.

Similar thing happened to our business account in 2022. We submitted an appeal but never received a reply. We followed up with additional appeals, but still, no response or explanation was given for the suspension. It took them six months to look into our appeals and see if the suspension was valid. Eventually, we got our account back, but we never received an explanation for why it was suspended in the first place.

Sorry to hear that, sounds like you’re doing what everyone else is doing including myself. updates with links back to your post…

well, I sent them an appeal saying that I don’t even know that to appeal since they did not let me know about any rule violations, absolutely no response to that but my account is back now…

Glad you got it back!

glad you got it back!

Yeah, probably celebrated prematurely…

This is what I posted today:

The second I posted it I got: We’ve added a temporary label to your account which may impact its reach. Learn more

Like what is wrong with that tweet?

Don’t know, doesn’t look anything out of the ordinary. However maybe it could have something to do with “gaycest”, the name?

In February I reposted this:

Got that flag immediately after that, log out for over a month… then posted 4 tweets between April and May, got suspended.

Appealed, got unsuspended, posted one tweet, got the label again.

So it turned out whatever I post, I always get “We’ve added a temporary label to your account which may impact its reach” 2 minutes later.

I posted one update since my last post… It doesn’t matter whether I post a link, photo, with hashtags, without hashtags, no matter what I do I always get this “temporary” label that limit reach of my posts to zero basically.

F@ck this shit…

Sorry to hear that. You’re just doing same as many others do.

By the way, I think your site looks great. I’ve added it to my directory: Gay Web Site Directory - GayDemon

Thank you, I appreciate it and I’m glad that you like the website. Normally I would say that I would link you back, but I already do since I occasionally add something to Wire, but thank you again.

Fire Dog was your account on “Safe Mode” - because all accounts that post “sensitive” material must be on Safe Mode - so those X users who do not want to see porn will not - someone could’ve complained and that is why you are getting this “temporary label”

well, I checked to make sure and I have that sensitive option on…

Several years ago one of my accounts was suspended for “targeted harassment”, because I replied to a racist football hooligan and said they’re an embarrassment to our country.

I appealed it and they changed the claim to “threats” and banned my account.

Does anyone actually get anything out of being on Twitter? It’s 90% Nazis and Russian trolls at this point.

We actually get some sales via Twitter especially when models featured in a scene promote it.

It’s also good from a recruitment POV for finding guys to work for us.

I think we are on account #4 or something. Knock on wood we have been good since X. Karups for our straight one lost I think early on but the same one since like 2017.

I’ve had a couple of material promotion sites for years- never had a problem
I think you have to be scrupulously dedicated to not posting x rated stuff.
Despite the fact x is full of it you only need 1 complaint and you’re gone.
1 of my sites declares that it post NSFW stuff but it’s always softcore and the other is never x rated or even full nudity. Both work.
Just my experience is all…
