Just looking at Tube scripts again. I know we have discussed this before but what are the real options? As in not small free scripts but options that are stable, can handle large volumes of views and videos?
So far, the only candidates that seems to be an option are:

Neither seem to have very good support and I can’t figure out if they support 64bit servers which would be important if you want to make sure its scalable. (bigger servers will need to be 64bits)

There’s also TEVS, the free but plain nubiles.net script, STXT and the new script they will launch soon (smart-scripts.com).

The Adult Watch script is a solid script. It is scalable with their multi server module and does just fine on high traffic volume. Support by email is decent, not the absolute best, but decent and what they change or correct works, usually the first time. They are in Canada and readily available by email for fixes, questions, mods.

apparantly used by all the “big” players in the tube business, I believe its fully customizable and expandable but its a bit expensive starting at $1500.

This is looking quite nice, only lacking some “member features” like making friends, building groups, showing favorite lists ect. but I’m sure theycould implement that.

Sorry to resume an old thread but I’ve just bought it and I was looking to check out more about this script on forums.
I have to say that while it’s true that the script is expensive… it’s also true that the licenses are UNLIMITED, the support is almost available 24/7 and you can ask for custom features FOR FREE

I ended up going with the unlimited version of tubeX from JMB, its a solid basic script that works well for building sponsor content driven tubes.

I am using the AdultWatch Script, and it seems to be working fine… The only problem I has is that it takes forever for the Tech Support to respond, very slow…

One think that I have about 99% of tube scripts out there is the templating system. While it’s true that when you’ve got how to customize it, it’s really simple… it’s also true that Smarty, if badly handled, eats too much resources. I prefer working directly with php/html/css.

I frankly like Tubex, it’s lean and mean. And all the source code is available. Templates are easy to use. Excellent support as well.
