Thoughts on SmartTube Pro?

I’m in the process of trying to pick a tube script and AVS and SmartTube Pro seem to be two of the ones that are most fully developed/supported… AVS has 3rd party vBulletin integration (which is good in my case) and SmartTube has an option for paid memberships - which is high on my priority list. Right now I’m leaning toward SmartTube Pro. Does anyone have any experience with it? I’ve heard some big players use it, but not sure which sites…

We’re also running a few new tubes on Mechbunny. Though I prefer Smart Tube Pro.

STP is a great script but very work intensive template-wise. You need to calculate about 1-2k$ for a descent design.

STP is a good script. The only issue with it is the “skin” system. It has lots of files to edit. About 120 or something near this number.

Yes, that’s also true. MechBunny is sold at $1500 BUT:

Do any of the less expensive ones have the option for paid premium memberships? (longer videos, HD quality, etc.)

The source code is completely open on TubeX so can probably integrate anything with it.

That’s a good one as well for the price and source code. I betcha they’ll throw in the custom design sale that they had going. They also include their .flv player as well.
