Wordpress JUST found a security vulnerability in some library they use for the admin rss feeds. So there is a patch, upgrade, whatever you want to call it, and with Version 2.7 coming in 17 days or so, what a blasted waste.
However, they do say it is minimal, and instead of updating the whole damn core, you can simply download two php pages, that fix the hole or whatever.
Look at it as a good thing… You’ll have a stable version and won’t have to experience the bugs in 2.7.0 - let others find them and then migrate when issues have been resolved (2.7.1 or 2.7.2)…
