Anyone recommend an offsite server backup solution?

There are several tools out there that work with Amazon’s S3 storage solution. If you dig around on the S3 site

there are several scripts, some of which I think are GPL opensource that automate backups to Amazon, and the last I looked, Amazon’s rates for storage were obscenely cheap.

We were just about to implement that solution when we decided to move to NatNet, which provides our backups for free :slight_smile:

I know somebody has a ready-to-go script for backup with S3. If you don’t find it from digging around, let me know, I know I have the info somewhere…

Yeah, can you hit me back with that info when you get a chance. I looked at some scripts and services but I just haven’t found a good one yet. And there is a lot of crap out there too.

If you ever want to backup files from your computer to the S3 service there’s a Firefox Add-on that allows you to do it from your browser.
