Thanks for the many emails I’ve received today.
Yes, I’m ‘retiring’ Manpics on Jan 1. It was a great run while it lasted (since 1995!) & a pretty amazing return for something that was always just a hobby.
But things move on & I’m ready for new things in the new year.

Sorry to ask, Rich, but have you tried to sell the site? Looks like Manpics still has a lot of traffic, at least when I look at what comes my way when I get my sites listed. And that’s way more then any other Directory ever sent me…

Yes, Manpics send a lot of traffic, substantially more than most of the other directories. I sure would like to see it continue somehow! I have to wonder why you wouldn’t sell it or turn it over to someone. :blink:

Wow, such a shame. So many good memories about manpics2000. Can you perhaps turn it into a blog sharing site (like gaydemon wired or malesharing)?

I really hope this isn’t another instance where all that work is just wasted. Seriously, a lot of guys don’t know what they have when it comes to sites, and what they think might be their least performing or not worth it is a potential goldmine to plenty of others. It’s such a waste to see a good site just being dumped.

I hope you’re looking at selling, or continuing it on in some fashion, rather than just letting it die.
