I looked up the Klout scores of the top 10 porn stars. What’s interesting is that, with the exception of Brent Everett and maybe Austin Wilde the Klout scores aren’t nearly as high as you’d expect given the number of followers they have.
Re: Klout Scores Of The Top 10 Gay Porn Stars On Twitter
The whole Klout thing is, well, rather disconcerting. Not just because they’ve claimed to mostly solve a problem that’s vexed science for generations, but also because it is being translated to real-world clout without being fully vetted. For example, even non-American Airlines passengers get access to the ‘Admiral’s Lounge’ if they have a klout score > 55. It’s being used by employers. Hell, it’s being used by everyone. Why does no one wonder how a company not even four years old or just over depending on which account you read, with just 40 employees, suddenly has so much sway on its own?
Re: Klout Scores Of The Top 10 Gay Porn Stars On Twitter
Google is doing the same exact thing as part of their SERP algorithm - they just don’t tell you the number. And to Klout’s credit they don’t claim to measure your value as a human being - just how much influence you wield on certain social media sites.
Re: Klout Scores Of The Top 10 Gay Porn Stars On Twitter
Twitter is kinda fun actually once you figure it out. It’s not really that much different than an old IRC or gay.com chatroom and d’uh people want you to interact with them. I got it now. My Klout score has increased 2 points this week … yes, I’m failing at rule #1: Don’t check your Klout score too much.
Re: Klout Scores Of The Top 10 Gay Porn Stars On Twitter
I don’t really look too much at who follows me. I tend to look for and follow guys who tweet about their sex lives and guys who post hot pics - especially hot pics of bareback sex. When I find a bareback pornstar or producer I’ll follow them too. And then of course there are a few like The Sword who are in a category by themselves. So unless you fall into one of those categories I’m unlikely to follow you back.
