Yes I closed it down and redirecting to the gaydemon directory. Just wasn’t any point keeping it going as majority of the sites no longer works. There’s so few blogs and actual real sites that still update or even exist. Such a sad state.

Ah, gotcha. I get it. Dang was getting decent traffic from there still.
Are there not enough new blogs to make it worth it anymore?
No there was so few sites that still remained up, let alone still update. I’m trying to clean up the directory on GayDemon and just keep sites that still update. There’s also the wired section where you can submit pictures and that gives some traffic:

There’s an old-school alternative - galleries. If you can make your blog post template look like an old school gallery, I will easily list them on my growing TGP network. Right now, only my general list (with a gay section) list takes blog posts that look like blog posts (with the ad-filled sidebars, more than 3 outbound links, and navigation links).
For the “cleaner” ones, I have a full growing gay network that always needs submits. There are several other TGPs that accept these as well, so you are not developing a template for nothing. There are never any guarantees on traffic, but you do get some exposure from places you haven’t tried before.
Just wanted to add… it would not take much persuasion for me to add a blog category to my main gay TGP. If I do that, then no new templates would be needed. It’s a bit more limiting because the TGPs don’t usually take them. Just an idea.
What’s the URL to your site or sites?
My main gay TGP is http://www.mygaymachine.com/ and the general link list is http://www.hotndirtybabes.com/

Nice, but perhaps you should try to make it secure / https? It will have a negative impact on SEO not having it as a secure site.
Actually the index page, landing page, and category pages are all secure (both forms of the URL work). The actual galleries are not always. Some of the link lists I use accept secure galleries, others do not so I am in the bad habit of using the straight URL. I believe that 99% of the sponsor links are secure - something I will double check as I review and build.
Have you found it to really be an issue on a link list type site - one that collects no information or has any user input?
It’s an issue if you want to rank on Google yes.
