Yes, I saw that. Apple has abandoned the product and it’s no longer secure.

already deleted it, and it’s unfortunate as it was my favorite player for MP4s and quicktimes. ah, well.

Patti, try VLC for a nice free video player, that has a lot of good features. Both Michael and I use it, and really I don’t miss the others I had for playing mp4. dvds, flv, mov, etc. You can find it here

Thats a shame. Its nice to be able to just stream directly to apple tv from quicktime. Since I upgraded my PC with SSD, its been flying like a brand new computer and my video source.
