Just read that cybersocket got sold to NSFW, same company that bought Fleshbot. I wonder if they will continue with the awards.
Who’s behind NSFW.army I wonder?
No links, no info on their page…
I really don’t know but if they acquired Fleshbot they must have paid fairly large sum I would think. Cybersocket value I don’t know about, it’s not as big however they got the awards.
When was cyber socket sold they’ve been around one of the longest in the industry this is kind of sad news and kind of disturbing news. Cybersocket Being sold this is an issue. Are we sure this is not one of the cybersquters groups attacking ?
Why is it an issue? It’s not a big site any more, not much traffic. The only thing that makes it a bit different is the awards they held each year.
For comparison using Alexa ranking Cybersocket #741,223, Fleshbot #110,088, Men.com #91,554, my own GayDemon.com is #85,419 and Pornhub is #78… It’s not the most reliable tool but it gives you an idea and shows how small the site has become. Maybe they are more after the awards than the site itself.
I can totally understand their owners wanting to move on from it and do something else.
I have always used your site and cybersocket I have been out of the affiliate game for awhile due to health and other work I did but thank you @GayDemon for updating me I do appreciate that but as far as for the issue I see forthcoming due to the cyber squatters group that’s where my Concern lies
No it’s a sale to a company, not cyber squatting.
I had a small inkling this was coming, I seen the previous owner announcing on Facebook he had a new Job… Its been a bit of a aging resource as far as the industry is concerened, maybe the new owners can breath some new life into it.
I noticed the fleshbot sale a few months ago, although I must admit I missed the going price, it was listed on broker.xxx from memory… Good luck to the new owner on both ventures though… Maybe we will see them around here soon
I’ll definitely miss Morgan but he will still be staying in the Industry at least (he got a new job with Docler Holding). Fleshbot was owned by the same company that owns Mr. Man and I know they helped facilitate this deal. I do hope whoever bought it can breathe some new life into it and continue the awards show!
