Changing Meta Description On Home Page of Site

I’m looking at a site I have and am thinking I want to change the home page meta description because I think it could rank a bit better in G if I do so. The site’s been live for about 3 months now.

I don’t want to go into what the site is, what I’m wondering is if anyone here has changed their front page meta description after 3 months in the SERPs and what your experience from doing so was.

I am just in the middle of doing that, G has been running a train on my sites and I’ve been banned. I opted for this plugin for WP > https://wordpress.org/plugins/add-meta-tags/

I don’t use Wordpress, code everything up myself, but that link will definitely help me. I use a bunch of SEO tools, but I like the one you included. :slight_smile:
