No I’m not going to blame them…it might be my traffic but I haven’t made any sales with any sponsors in the last three days…
This is very unusual for me…I miss signup notification email.
Anybody experiencing the same thing?

Re: CCBill Sales
Ive had a shitty week with CCBill sponsors. But I seem to be back now. Im hearing from lots of people that CCBill sales are not coming through as much so Im thinking its not just you but lots of us.
Re: CCBill Sales
No ccbill sales last three days here… this had never happened before. I used to rock those sales… I have no idea what I’m doing wrong…
Re: CCBill Sales
Glad I’m not the only one… yes three days no new sales…rebills coming fine though.
Re: CCBill Sales
Its funny how misery loves company. It makes us feel better that everyone is suffering with low ccbill sales, but that doesnt put food on the table, so its still a shitty situation. Humans are strange beasts.
Im really hoping the drive towards cascading will put a stop to these dry spells. One processor goes nuts scrubbing and we all loose money. Doesnt seem fair somehow :bang:
Re: CCBill Sales
The sites that have CCBill as their affiliate program have never done all that well for me. When the first 10 days of this month passed without any sales whatsoever (not even rebills), I pulled all CCBill URLs off my blogroll (sorry Tony & Cam and Manifest Men - you were one of the ones pulled). A rebill has come through since then, but it’s not looking pretty.
I’ll re-evaluate my decision if I hear things change…
Re: CCBill Sales
Everything is pretty normal and average for our sales.
Re: CCBill Sales
Funny, I had 0 sales on Ccbill for the last 48 hours. Can’t remember that ever happened before. The rebills were normal. So as a test I switched to Epoch for the last 10 hours and signups are within normal range. Very strange indeed.
Re: CCBill Sales
Our Epoch sales are doing very well compared to our CCbill sales. If any UKNM CCbill affiliate would like to change over to our Epoch affiliate program, here is the url… http://www.epochstats.com/wmreg/add_program.php?program=64
We’ve had a few affiliates switch over and their conversions have improved because of Epoch’s more Euro-friendly billing options.
Re: CCBill Sales
With 40% of our members in the EU I am eager to see what happens when we add Epoch. Out of curiosity, why is a second program? I understood that it was possible to place Epoch in position one of the cascade and still have CCBill pay out the affiliates.
Re: CCBill Sales
We initially signed up with Epoch but had great difficulty attracting affiliates because most preferred joining a CCbill program. So we added CCbill but on a completely separate tour.
We still haven’t figured out the CCbill cascading system so we haven’t added Epoch to the cascade yet. I sure wish CCbill had an active rep on this board. We do however cascade to CCbill on our Epoch tour through their MPA3.

Jim,
I’d like to promote your program (and several others) through Epoch. However, Epoch doesn’t have Serbia in their list of countries. One can find almost all countries - even those where porn is punished by death - such as Iran or Saudi Arabia, but stangely not Serbia.
Could you send them a polite email asking them to add Serbia to their list of available countries?
Btw. I did very well with UKNM through CCBill early last year, then stopped promoting you for unknown reasons. I defo should start promoting you again. but since CCBill is obviously having issues I’d prefer Epoch.
Re: CCBill Sales
CCbill been very normal for me too. Not seen any issues. It was down a bit with that DOS attack but sales didnt seem to really suffer.

I’ll check on that for you Ben. I know how to allow “restricted” countries in the CCbill admin but have never come across it in the Epoch admin. But I’ll email our rep on Monday and find out. We’d love to have you back!
Re: CCBill Sales
We’ve had a bad start to the week with ZERO sales for a couple of days. Then, things picked up a bit but still below average sales for the week.
Whenever this happens, we contact CCBill and then, all of a sudden, we see a dramatic increase. Interesting…
We have found the same to be true with our numbers at AEBN in the past. When things seem to be slow there, we’ll give them a call. And just like magic, things pick up and are stellar for a month or so after…
I don’t understand.
Sorry everyone out there that send us traffic. We’ve thought about adding Epoch to the mix but refuse to pay the additional VISA fees they will require us to pay again. How many times to we need to pay VISA those outrageous fees? Seems unreasonable to us.

Would love to know what you said to CCBill. This was the WORST week ever in our two year history with CCBill. WE WENT FOUR DAYS STRAIGHT without a sale, which has NEVER happened to us, at all, ever. In fact, we had previously never gone two days without a sale.
Very odd.
My other (non-CCBill sites) both seem to be normal, and one is a little above average.
Hmmm…
Re: CCBill Sales
Manifest is so cutting edge that we had a crap sales LAST weekend. Not sure if it was CCBill or a tiny change we made in our tour. Put the old material back up and “Bingo” the sales rebounded.
But all the same, we are adding Epoch. The extra 750 seems nuts but if they have better EU penetration (how very porn-like) then they do will us well. Will keep you guys posted once it hits.
Re: CCBill Sales
I can’t really complain about AEBN because it’s been a good consistent seller for me over the five years I’ve been promoting it.
Obviously, as an affiliate, it’s always difficult knowing what’s affecting sales. It’s a bit like looking through frosted glass and trying to make out what’s going on behind the window!
I can say this… I don’t think my AEBN members keep buying. I add new ones each month and in three years have increased my member numbers by about 30%. Yet sales now are not much more than they were in 2005.
That’s a bit disappointing when you also think of how many people have broadband now, the way interest in video has grown in the period and the much greater number of titles I can promote compared to 2005.
Anyway I’m tweaking pages and my methods, so will see what happens over coming months

I don’t like to kiss and tell - its got me into hot water in the past and the only hot water I like is a good long soak in my own mineral hot bubbly here with Cam…
Re: CCBill Sales
we tend to think more like producers than webmasters and as producers, we tend to think more like performers…
and one thing for me (speaking as a top) is certain - I almost always think through my dick!
I have found that I need to keep on top all the time and try to but some times can’t because I can’t be in all places at all times - just can’t -
so every once in a while, I like the good old fashioned telephone call or face2face meeting to talk about sales and what our feeds, distributors and affiliates can do to boost them and help promote us
We’ve been successful in our own right because we’re reachable and real and willing to do what we need to do to (within reason)
so, I’m wondering now if we’ve been letting people down by not having epoch in place - I guess we’ll just have to plop down the extra $750 and say to VISA - ok - what a bunch of ^&$$%!
they’re almost as bad as my favorite clients in Dubai… and they’re getting ready to produce more oil now… isn’t that sweet…
