CarnalMedia is growing, and we’re looking for another photo editor to join our team. If you are a talented photo editor and this sounds like a fun job, please send us an email.
As a Photo Editor, you will be responsible for developing and touching up a large number of photographs weekly. You will be responsible for working on projects independently, in a team, and you need to be okay with receiving feedback.
The ideal candidate loves male adult content, is a self-starter, and thrives in a virtual workplace (we use Dropbox, Slack, and Google spreadsheets every day).
This is a full-time, paid position. It is remote. A reliable internet connection and computer is required. You can work on your own schedule, but our company work week is Monday-Friday.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
GENERAL PHOTO SKILLS:
- Ability to work with a large amount of images each week, while maintaining efficiency and quality.
- Expert understanding of different photo formats (predominantly Raw)
- Expert understanding of photo resizing
- Good eye for detail, color, and composition
- File naming and organization
ADOBE LIGHTROOM PROFICIENCY INCLUDING:
- Organization within the program
- Color and light corrections
- Spot corrections, brushes, and other tools
ADOBE PHOTOSHOP PROFICIENCY INCLUDING:
- Strong understanding of selections, masks, and layers
- Healing brushes, patching, and cloning tools
- Skilled with body modifications using Liquify and Puppet Warp tools
- Cropping and resizing
OTHER EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience in photography and photo editing
- Experience working remotely with a team is a plus
- Art/creative background is a plus
COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION:
- Candidate should be proficient in English
- Strong communication and collaboration skills. A “team player”
- Able to keep up with deadlines, and work well under pressure
- Able to handle critique and use feedback to improve
- Independent worker but not afraid to ask questions or for help when needed
