What you will be doing:

If you are familiar with Carnal Media, you will know that we currently have three main sites, with new projects planned for the near future. These sites include:

Carnal+, our first flagship site, has fifteen separate channels. These cover a wide range of interests and body types but Carnal is known for our inter-generational content and taboo-breaking, boundary-pushing, story lines. While Carnal+ includes a few traditional channels like JalifStudios and EdwardJames, it is mostly devoted to channels such as Gaycest, Scoutboys, Catholicboys, Boyforsale—and our newest channel, bringing in more African American content—Baptistboys, along with many more!

Bareback+ is primarily devoted to a more traditional porn format of hot gay hunks sucking, fucking, and breeding in short form videos, with the addition of long form features, and our gang-bang channel CumDumpSluts.

FTM+, is a site where we are proud to offer the trans male community that has three channels FTMmen, JockPussy, and Trancest, a trans version of our popular Gaycest channel devoted to inter-generational, inter-familial, relationships. FTMmen+ primarily features trans bottoms with cis male tops.

This is a part time contract position to start, but we are a rapidly growing company that takes the time to grow our team from within. Team members who demonstrate talent and a good work ethic may be invited to contribute to projects with greater levels of responsibility and creative input as those opportunities open up.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

GENERAL WRITER SKILLS:

  • Conduct primary research to understand the characters and other story elements.
  • Create blueprints for scripts based on research and creative vision of production teams.
  • Discuss content details with technical teams to ensure that it meets desired standards.
  • Identify sources for the researcher to assist the scriptwriting process.
  • Present the narratives and provide inputs on the visual and production requirements for consideration.
  • Produce original ideas for consideration based on the understanding of the audience.
  • Revise the blueprints based on inputs from production teams.
  • Revise written materials based on editorial and personal standards to meet expectations of production teams.
  • Ability to write narrative scripts describing in detail: the plot, characters, environment, moods and dialogues.

OTHER EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous Experience as a writer is a plus
  • Previous Experience in the film industry is a plus
  • Experience working remotely within a team is a plus
  • Art/creative background is a plus

COMMUNICATION AND COLLABORATION:

  • Candidate should be proficient in English
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. A “team player”
  • Able to keep up with deadlines, and work well under pressure
  • Able to handle critique and use feedback to improve
  • Independent worker but not afraid to ask questions or for help when needed
