We haven’t been promoting them for long but we decided to try them out on one of our blogs and it seems we have a problem.
We received several email alerts confirming sales, I noticed these when logging in to check stats.
Some time in the last week it seems all our data was wiped, including those sales and our click data.
It could be nothing, maybe just a database glitch.
However, we tried to get in touch to find out what the deal is and we haven’t heard back.
Anyone else promoting them and experienced any issues?
Hm, we’ve tried to make contact but so far no luck.
We’ve removed their content for the time being.
It’s a shame. Ratios were good and we were about to request a bulk of past content to increase the post count.
If anyone has any suggestions for what to replace them with, we’d appreciate it.
Solo/hand job themes are what we predominantly go for with our main site.
Not the first time this happened with them. Like Bjorn I usually just use NIfty Stats for reports and it was a very long time ago so my memory is foggy but I recall being due for a payment and went to their site to check stats and noticed the same thing you’re speaking of. They were able to replace most the statistical data but they never did replace all of it. I’ve been doing business with them for years and I think only one time I didn’t have to contact them looking for payment. They pay but it can be up to three months after you meet the payout threshold. Plus I’ve never received a payment that matches what NIfty reports. It’s always less but close enough that I’ve continued promoting them due to the niche they have.
Have you tried contacting Tim at [email protected]? I actually was in touch with him yesterday about a due payment.
I’ve just checked my sales with them (using the normal login through a browser, not via niftystats) and I can confirm that in my case, too, all the sales I made since the beginning of this year have disappeared. It shows just 84 clicks and zero sales. So this is obviously some tech glitch on their side. I wrote them an email about this and we’ll see what their response will be.
It’s a pity, I like their content and it does sell to some extent reasonably well. It would be a shame if I had to stop promoting them. But of course, no money = no promotion.
Just to add that I have been paid by them recently, I have a feeling its just a problem on the affiliate stats side rather than actually not recording sales because they do show up in Nifty Stats.
Just received an email from Jacob telling me I’ve only generated $17 in the last 12 months which is incorrect. Nifty is showing I’ve generated over $800 since 7/15/18… I’ve replied pointing them to this thread and reminding them this isn’t the first time their stats have gone missing. It was January 2016 the last time this happened according to my email records.
I find communicating the them frustrating, and we are no longer receiving affiliate updates despite repeated attempts to get in touch with them.
Payments have never been a problem and our stats are showing.
We keep getting the affiliate emails from them, but we’re no longer promoting them.
We finally got a response from them last week but it didn’t make any sense.
“James C” said something about not working with “on sellers” (no idea what that means) but then asking for our affiliate ID, which we provided.
That was a week ago and we haven’t heard back since.
Our stats haven’t changed and our sales are still missing.
While I understand that several of you have been paid in the past, these are not the actions of a trustworthy company and we’re dropping them from our blogs.
I’ll also be advising my writing clients to use extreme caution regarding this business.
It’s a real shame. They have some great guys there and the content is perfect for several of our sites, and client sites too.
However, we’ve been burned too many times to ignore these warning signs.
