I’m giving up on Maleflixx. I stuck with them for years because they we very nice to me personally and one of the first programs. But I can see that not just the affiliates do not get paid, but also studios are leaving them. I read Chi Chi LaRue’s tweets that she likes them - lo and behold they seem to be streaming all the Rascal/All Worlds and Catalina. (It’s a random selection, but still)
Anyways, how does GayHotMovies work for you guys? I’ve set my link code to include “Free 15 minutes”. Does anyone else ?
I dislike how if one wants to buy a DVD everyone’s taken to TLAVideo, which yes I know is also a Philadelphia company and runs their VOD. TLA’s another company I had to walk away from for the same reasons.

Amen, brother. From my experience (and I like these guys, personally), getting videos online takes up to 6 months or longer. And when a paycheck comes, it’s like months and months and months go by. Last year, I got lump payment for about 18 months back-pay or something crazy like that. I don’t get it.
Maleflixx used to be my single largest sponsor, with very good ratios through a white label I have with them (www.gaydemon.tv). It’s still there but a few years back it suddenly stopped making sales. No matter how much traffic i poured into it, the sales were stuck at the same amount. For example, I stopped promoting it entirely for a year, then went back and sent a huge amount traffic to them again during a 6 month period but it made no difference to sales. Still same amount of sales as when I sent nothing.
On several occasions I was asked to advice and speak with their IT department advising on their site structure and set-up, however it always fell on deaf ears. I’d spend hours on the phone but none of the advice were ever used, it always ended up with the IT director seeing any advice as personal attack and defending his system no matter what. The IT director was never really interested in hearing what anyone else had to say and always did his own thing which eventually lead to their downfall I suspect. Their system is still out-dated and awkward at best. At one point he launched one of the worst interfaces known to man, I don’t think it ever went live though. It was a maze of framed windows and scrolling menus.
Anyway… during the year I stopped entirely with Maleflixx I tested GayMovies.com. In general it it’s a good program. Sales were ok, in fact I still make occasional sales even now when I’m not actively promoting them. Ratios are good too, they perform better than Maleflixx. There was some issues a couple of years ago when they were under investigation for running a escort agency or prostitution. I can’t remember the exact details. That’s well in the past though and payments seems to be coming through regularly and on time.
I’m not the best one to advice though as I don’t really promote the old style VOD sites any more. None of them have very good white label solutions and their systems are out dated.
Thanks for the posts, I was just about to head back to Maleflixxx and give them another try. By the sounds of things, I guess I’ll pass.
After GayMovies had their problems a couple of years back, I forget exactly what they were, the credit card companies no longer allowed them to have White Label products, so they shut down all private theatres and all the traffic went to their main site.
I didn’t bother shifting my traffic because it just seemed like it was only a matter of time before something else happened to these guys. They did continue to rebill and I’d get a tiny cheque every few months.
A few weeks back they kept emailing me saying that I wasn’t sending any traffic and if I didn’t start, they’d close my account, which they eventually did.
Honestly, when you’re making a couple of bucks per transactions with these VOD places, there’s not much incentive to spending much time promoting them. And with all the fascination with tubes, VOD seems to be going the way of AVS. Maybe AEBN still makes a lot of money for people, I was never able to make that happen.

That’s it, I forgot about that. I have a feeling it’s the same for all US companies. Vaguely remember asking another large sponsor program about setting up a white label and them giving me the same answer.
