Re: Mormon Boyz Has Been Bought – Who is MetaVentures?
Just write down your link code and start handing out notes at bus stops
No seriously, I got some old content which Paul has sent me after he launched the site, but after that I never got any fresh promo content. That was the biggest problem for me. The site sells, but there was never much to work with. I hope the new owners are going to send out content mailers. I have signed up with CCbill, but I will only start promoting the site once the tracking problems has been solved and when there’s new promo content available.
I’m gonna follow your lead
Just signed up for them and as others have pointed out not seeing my affiliate ID within the CCBill signup form.
Re: Mormon Boyz Has Been Bought – Who is MetaVentures?
Appears to be working correctly now, my ccbill referral code worked and shows up in the source for the signup page. =) Now can you send out some promo?
Re: Mormon Boyz Has Been Bought – Who is MetaVentures?
We are working getting a promo content email out to you tomorrow with images and video. And, the plan is to do a weekly promo email so that you guys have fresh content going forward.
Re: Mormon Boyz Has Been Bought – Who is MetaVentures?
My payment did arrive today. On the 15th Emma said she’d get it out in a couple of days, it was mailed on April 18, and arrived here today (April 24) not bad considering both Good Friday and Easter Monday were government holidays.
Re: Mormon Boyz Has Been Bought – Who is MetaVentures?
dzinerbear, I’ve been reading your threads. I’m really happy to hear that you have been paid. I’m also thrilled by your support of Mormonboyz. Thank you, and I look forward to a strong (stronger) working relationship going forward!
Re: Mormon Boyz Has Been Bought – Who is MetaVentures?
That’s odd… Paul Jackson is a married gay guy… What a coincidence… Or is Max or LeGrand simply Paul Jackson? In other words, has Metaventures (Paul’s company) and Mormonboyz really been sold?
Paul Jackson has proven himself to be completely untrustworthy. I will never promote Mormonboyz again

They are now using CCBill which takes a lot of the problems with trust out of the equation. There was never anything wrong with the site, it sold very well and had great content. Paul just couldn’t handle payments and back office in a satisfactory manor. Now when it’s through CCBill that shouldn’t be a problem. I agree though, I wouldn’t trust him but I do trust CCBill when it comes to payments.
Re: Mormon Boyz Has Been Bought – Who is MetaVentures?
My point is that I am quite certain that Mormonboyz never got sold. Paul Jackson is still the owner. In September 2013 Paul Jackson stopped crediting webmaster for rebllis. Who says he won’t do that againnow he’s using CcBill?
Paul Jackson owes me quite a lot of money. I advise everyone who reads this to stay away from Mormonboyz.
Re: Mormon Boyz Has Been Bought – Who is MetaVentures?
That’s strange but thanks for letting me know it’s just me. I’ve emailed them at emmadonovan [at] mormonboyz.com plus PM’d them here… Not sure what happened.

Re: Mormon Boyz Has Been Bought – Who is MetaVentures?
I did and she replied right away with a bunch of missed mailers for the period prior 11/20 and was told they would make sure my email address is added back to the mailing list. Unfortunately, I haven’t received another mailer since… I tried emailing her again twice but haven’t heard back yet…

There is only one affiliate (and his associate) who could be Abracadabra (the user on this board going by Abracadabra). At present, Abracadabra is once again an affiliate of Mormonboyz.
Abracadabra, please do me a favor and please clarify that we are now working together.
When we bought the company, all other Mormonboyz affiliate accounts were settled. With the exception of this affiliate and his business associate, all others were invited to simply enroll in the new CCBill affiliate program. In the case of “Abracadabra” we needed to work out an agreement that would allow him to promote. He had previously promoted in a way that is outside of the CLEARLY STATED terms and conditions of our affiliate program. The previous owner did not know how to resolve this situation, since the terms clearly stated that if you do certain things your account will be cancelled, and your payments withheld. I am happy to report that we came to an agreement of how we could proceed. And we are once again working together.

Kevin, I just spoke with Emma about this. We can both see your email on the list in our email campaign program. Since we don’t seem to be having this problem with others, could it be that you need to whitelist our domain? I’m guessing that our emails are going to spam. Please double check.
