yes starting too look like that. it’s just beyond belief for such a well known studio and old program.
I wrote Keith a final email today, just asking for at least some communication about what’s going on. After promoting him for well over a decade if not nearly two he at least owes me a reply, and that i will switch off all traffic today and redirect elsewhere.
Of course they will continue to send out newsletters and ignore affiliates because newsletters make them money where they don’t have to pay an affiliate.
Just an idea, but has anyone thought of sending a press release to Xbiz / AVN etc., announcing the program no longer pays affiliates and getting quotes from people here about not getting their money? What really pisses me off is seeing them still being nominated for and winning awards at the Grabbies, GayVN etc. I would think not paying webmasters should be grounds to ban them from participating in these things, especially AVN and XBiz which are supported by Webmasters.
It’s perhaps worth noting that str8upgayporn and queerclick are still posting Helix promo material, so it appears that Helix is continuing to support selected affiliates while ditching the rest, since recent content isn’t available on Helix’s affiliate site.
I messaged the person running str8upgayporn a month or so ago asking if they’d be willing to let me know if they’re still getting paid but I guess they aren’t, haven’t heard back.
This one really has got under my skin more than other non-payments. It’s a huge brand, some of us have been working with them for what… 15+ years? And at least you could expect some type of excuse or something.
