I’ve been thinking about this quite a bit, as it’s sort of a new product, but it’s still a blog wearing a slightly different outfit. I haven’t configured the widgets on the sidebars yet, but I’ve no doubt a blogroll is one of the options. So any blog trades you’d do with a blog would certainly be doable.
I’m also setting up video tube directory dot com (nothing there yet). I’m not sure how other link list directories are going to view these tubes … and I’d certainly be interested in hearing from Bjorn just how/where sites like these could be submitted to Gaydemon and similar sites. (ie: what category) I’ll also be happy to trade links at www.gayblogfinder.com and www.gayxxxblogs.com.
Other features: This theme does generate an RSS feed. The theme has built in “share this” features for quite a few of the social network sites. The theme also provides a link to grab an embed code, so yes, someone could find a link on your tube to embed it on their blog … but if you’re embedding from say youtube or rockettube or porntube, if that’s where it’s hosted, then that’s the url it’s going to give out. Check the demo and go to one of the video pages and play with the features before the text block starts.
As to a trade script type option, I’m still checking around the net to see if such an animal exists for blogs.

You can still use a tgp trading script to trade with other types of sites. No reason you couldn’t set it up to trade with someone else’s fake tube site here.

Far as I can tell, I just need the url to where the video is hosted, so it can be embedded. The actual affiliate code linking takes place in the text part of the “post”. I’m also looking at having some banners ready so that I can add one for the sponsor in a video page along with the text. That help any?

Nice thread so far, I am playing catch up after taking a bit of time off in last 2 weeks so I am just reading this tonight.
FYI, HunkMoney provides hosted FLV ‘tube videos’ as well as zipped files of the same videos in wmv (and some older ones in mpeg) if you want to host them yourself. We are continually updating those lists too, and hopefully once TMM moves us to NATS our affiliates will be able to get the full list dumps of these tools a lot easier too.
I will keep an eye on this thread and try to assist whenever I can

Hmm, I may have to revise that. Ian and I spent a bit of time tonite trying different ways to embed stuff.
A straight out url doesn’t work.
Hunkmoneys’ script code works.
Using the embed code from Rockettube works, but it also displays a rockettube player.
Using Vipers Video Quicktags to try and generate a code with the URL and take it to the custom fields didn’t work.
So a Flash File with the embed code around your url for the video may be the best option at the moment.

Okay so far here is what works.
The embeds from Mugs Cash.
The embed code from Rocket Tube but it has the ‘rocket tube’ player showing.
The embed from Hunks Money.
So as Bec has said, we’ve gone around on this, and just the URL won’t work. So, if any sponsors have the actual ‘embed’ code, it’ll definitely work, so if any are interested, let’s get posted, so we can sign up, if we haven’t already.
I think this could be a real winner, and Bec certainly knows her stuff, and this theme is a killer one. It really does lay the stuff out nicely. Once all the graphics are in place, it will be hot.
Sponsors interested with actual embed codes, please post in this thread. Include a link to your affiliate program so those not promoting your stuff, can sign up.

Quick question: has anyone besides Ian actually gotten that template using one of my links?? Reason I’m asking is 'cause I’m not showing any sales, and want to be sure my tracking code isn’t kaput.
