Of course I dont think its a good idea to register a domain name which is close or similiar to established brands. You will just end up paying for it in the end.
Prime Example - Gay Manhunter treads onto “manhunter”
Think before you post because you open people whom feel they have a GREAT new domain, to a possible lawsuit and you, yourself, are opened up to a deviant history of publishing one off domains.

Well, I do think before I post … and if you see me as being deviant with the ones I chose to share, fine … I’ll just stop posting any more domains. 666
Owning a domain can be a pain in the ass for a trademark owner, but surely not illegal? I mean, as long as you don’t build a brand in a way that competes or tricks surfers into believing it is remotely the same as another should be fine?
It might be possible to register the domain gaymanhunter.com as a guy who goes round looking for guys and shags them outdoors (similar to bait bus). But that doesn’t imply or infringe anything manhunter do?
You’re being far to hard on Bec. She is just brainstorming and giving us some really good suggestions.
Yes Gay Manhunter or similiar would be bad practice to register. However this thread only gives you suggestions, as in any normal case you need to do some checking and research before starting a new site and registering a new domain.
Its not up to Bec to make sure each suggested name isnt a registered Trademark. That, as always is up to the each individual person who might think a domain name suits them.
This is also why you should register any names as a Trademark if you are worried it will be copied or used.

I HATE this attitude. This thread is simply listing off domains that have become available, its trying to be helpful. Its not up to people posting these domains to make sure what you do with the domain name does not violate copyrights.
This is truly the attitude that stops people from posting and helping due to fears that they may be liable for someone else’s wrong doings.
Ok, ok — you guys win. I’ll continue to put up domain names, and I shall endeavor to not put up anything that looks like the hun, manhunter, mancheck, gaydemon, etc etc etc.
